Lisa works on the Roseworth Big Local project as Community Development Worker on a part time basis. Lisa was born in Stockton-on-Tees and has lived in the town all her life. This role is ideal for Lisa as she felt she can use the skills and experience gained throughout her life.
Lisa is passionate about developing people and communities and has demonstrated this through various roles in her career. She has had a diverse range of jobs including mentoring, careers advisor, lecturer and working with others to develop skills and enhance careers.
Lisa is particularly invested in giving children support, ensuring they have the best possible start in life and is involved with several community and charitable projects both locally and as far afield as Sri Lanka.
In her spare time Lisa is a Middlesbrough FC season ticket holder and she loves live music, theatre and travelling.
