New Plans Unveiled for Kiora Hall

Exciting News for Roseworth

It was announced this morning that Kiora Hall will benefit from around a £1.3 million investment, as there are plans to develop this building into a specialist education facility by the North East Autism Society (NEAS).

We know from our previous consultations that local people want to see Kiora Hall back in use and the building brought back to life, so we have no doubt NEAS and the great work it does will be welcomed in our community.

We want to express thanks to the ongoing hard work of Roseworth Ward Councillors and Stockton Borough Council in this exciting development and we are pleased that it will bring employment opportunities for local people.

Roseworth Big Local, supported by our locally trusted organisation Catalyst, are currently involved in discussions about developing part of Kiora Hall into community facilities. We will be able to give everyone an update and discuss different ways local people can be involved further in due course.
