Rosebud Grants awarded in June

In June 2021 we received four grant applications. Three were approved and the 4th was evolved into a filming project.

A request from the Friday Friends group (image above), which meet at Roseworth Library, for funds to refresh the outdoor garden area. We cant wait for the group to start this work as sadly a lot of their plants died over lockdown

A request from local ward councillors to support a wildflower planting scheme on Rochester road was agreed. Ward councillors let us know that they will also be contributing to this as part of their ward budget. Great work!
A request from a student group at Stockton Riverside College to hold a garden party for Roseworth lodge care home residents and their families.

This group also recently used a different grant to improve this garden area. Read more about this HERE
