Roseworth Big Local have funded the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust to bring colour and joy to Roseworth.
If you live in the Roseworth Ward, love nature and are interested in gardening you can register to become a Roseworth Wildlife Garden Champion.
What is Roseworth Wildlife Garden Champions?
The scheme is completely FREE to households in the Roseworth Ward!
Roseworth Big Local have funded the ‘Wild Garden Champions’ for one year as part of its 2021-2022 plan under the priority “Community Spaces and Infrastructure”.

Participating homes will receive the following:
🌼 A personal garden survey by the Wildlife Trust with tailored advice on how to attract wildlife
🌼 A year of monthly wildlife activities action packs containing everything that you need to complete mini wildlife gardening projects
🌼 Invitations to community garden demonstrations and events
Here are some of the monthly activities you can look forward to if you sign up today….
🐝 Plant spring bulbs for bumblebees
🌻 Sow a salad bowl of herbs
🌱 Make a home for hedgehogs
🐝 Create a garden mosaic
🌻 Feed garden song birds
🌱 Grow flowers for butterflies
🐝 Make a hibernation house for ladybird

Being a wildlife garden champion is suitable for all ages, and whatever your gardening experience or mobility. The only criteria is that you live in the Roseworth Ward.
