World Mental Health Day

Saturday 10th October every year is world mental heath day.

Mental health is a topic very close to my heart, and before big local I used to work for local mental health charities and counselling services.

There is no ‘health’, without mental health… So take some time to recharge your physical and mental health over the next few days. I have a few ideas

✔️ Exercise – we have our walking group on Thursday if you fancy it? There are 3 places left https://roseworth.418staging.co.uk/events/roseworth-walk-and-talk-2/

✔️ Connect with others – you could join our online coffee morning on Friday or phone a friend you haven’t spoken to for a while.

✔️ Relax – they’re are lots of mindfulness activities online, maybe try a you tube video 👌

✔️ Create! – creativity comes in many forms: art, music, home decorating, gardening…

If you need support with your mental health there are Local services across Teesside that can help. You can refer yourself for free support here: https://www.impactonteesside.com/ (you don’t need to see your GP).

If you need to speak to someone you can call the Samaritans on 116 123 for free, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
