Rosebud Grants for local people and community groups

You could apply for up to £1000!

Did you know that Roseworth Big Local have set up grant scheme where local groups and Organisations can apply for a grant of up to £1000?

What is this small grants fund?

We have now set up grant scheme to make award to community groups and organisations to deliver activities and projects that provide a clear benefit to residents within the Big Local area.

Currently, grants of up to £1000 are available. You can contact us with any queries or download an application form below.

Some examples of how this grant has been spent in our local area:

  • Supporting local Primary school, St Gregorys, with their new wellbeing garden (picture above of local children starting to create this space)
  • Helped to purchase a gazebo at St Chads Church for their activity groups
  • Helped to buy toys and new signage for the toddler group at Elim Church
  • Sowing a flower border at railway wood
  • Starting a community walking and running group

What activity will we fund?

The activity must provide a genuine community benefit or address community need in the Roseworth Ward or for the people of the Roseworth Ward.

It must also fit within one or more of the RBL priority themes of –

  • Children and young people
  • Community spaces and infrastructure
  • Bringing people together
  • Maintaining and managing a resident led Big Local programme.

Other aims – we are particularly interesting in applications which –

  • Encourage more activities, getting more going on in the area
  • Developing community spirit
  • Encourage creativity
  • Could lead to enterprise or bigger things.
